A Day in A life of a Beauty Queen

A Day in A life of a Beauty Queen

This week in the Pollard household we have experienced an upper chest infection/strep that has been shared with two members of the family. Sometimes not having children at home can be challenging because we don’t build that immunity that parents get when their children are young.

Sitting in my kitchen this evening I watched my kitten go wild at the window, and he was being teased by a baby squirrel. I cracked the window and the baby squirrel had no fear. So I walked some bread with peanut butter out to the ledge because I found it absolutely an adorable interaction with a wild/and domesticated animals. It is funny how Mother Nature works at times.

My husband is leaving out for Bejing, China on Sunday so this weekend is a prep weekend to get him ready, feeling better, and to let him know how special he is ,and I am going to miss him the week of Thanksgiving tremendously. I am thankful for my family, my friends and my life in general is good. I always remind myself there are others that are not as fortunate and that is why we are here. Please keep others that need help in your prayers and help out anyway that you can.

This Thanksgiving please reach out to others; remember to give thanks to the man upstairs as well.

God Bless
